Miss World Philippines 2012

 

Queenierich Rehman was crowned winner of Miss World Philippines 2012 held on Sunday, June 24 at the Manila Hotel Tent hosted by Rufa Gutierrez and Edu Manzano, together with Mr. Fu, Patricia Fernandez, John James Uy and Victor Basa.

Rehman from Las Pinas City bested 24 other contestants and became Philippine representative to Miss World 2012 to be held on August 18, 2012 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadiumin Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. (GB)

Rehman will receive P1 million cash prize and a brand new Hyundai car.

Miss Universe Kosovo 2012

19-year old Diana Avdiu, from Kosovo Polje (Pristina), was crowned Miss Universe Kosovo 2012 during an event held on June 21st. The runner-ups were Liridona Miftari and Elga Shala.

Diana, who stands 174 cm in height, is a professional model who has worked for some renowned designers, including print and runway for Sherri Hill. She will now represent Kosovo at the Miss Universe 2012 competition in December (GB)

Miss France 2013 to be held December 8th in Limoges

The Miss France 2013 competition will be held on Saturday, December 8th, at the Zenith in Limoges (capital of Haute-Vienne), as confirmed by pageant organizer Sylvie Tellier. On this day, reigning Miss France Delphine Wespiser will crown her succesor. The gala will be televised live through TF1.

The regional competitions at a department level in France are in full swing.

Miss France 2012 Delphine Wespiser is having a busy year, attending several regionals, media and sporting events and award ceremonies including the NRJ Music Awards and the Roland Garros tournament.

In addition, Wespiser has been preparing for the Miss World 2012 competition to be held in China in August. During her year she has been campaigning to encourage people to donate blood, a cause she will take as her Beauty with a Purpose project.(GB)

Phiona Bizzu was crowned Miss Uganda 2012 at the Victoria Ballroom of the Serena Hotel in Kampala on June 1, 2012. The beauty from Lira is 19 years old. She will represent Uganda in Miss World 2012 Pageant to be held in China on August 18. The first runner-up was Josephine Nabakooza while the second runner-up was Agatha Tuhimbise.
