Miss World 2012 is Wenxia YU from The Peoples Republic of China.

In a glittering ceremony held at the Dongsheng Stadium Wenxia YU won the title of Miss World 2012.  In a record breaking year 116 contestants represented their countries on the world stage in what was a celebration of Ordos and a gathering of friends from around the world.(MissWorld.com)

Miss World Philippines 2012

 

Queenierich Rehman was crowned winner of Miss World Philippines 2012 held on Sunday, June 24 at the Manila Hotel Tent hosted by Rufa Gutierrez and Edu Manzano, together with Mr. Fu, Patricia Fernandez, John James Uy and Victor Basa.

Rehman from Las Pinas City bested 24 other contestants and became Philippine representative to Miss World 2012 to be held on August 18, 2012 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadiumin Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. (GB)

Rehman will receive P1 million cash prize and a brand new Hyundai car.

Road to Miss World 2012:
Diana Ovganova was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan 2012 at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Bishkek on May 19, 2012. The 18-year-old beauty will represent Kyrgyzstan in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, People’s Republic of China on August 18.

ROAD TO MISS WORLD 2012

Tara Teng was crowned Miss World Canada 2012 at the finale of the national pageant held in Richmond on May 13th, 2012. The beauty from Fort Langley, BC is 23 year old. She will represent Canada in Miss World 2012Pageant in Ordos, China, in August. Lisa Deane was the first runner-up and Tanya Halata was the second runner-up.

Shristi Shrestha was crowned Miss Nepal 2012 at the Hotel Del Annapurna in Kathmandu on May 6, 2012. The beauty from Chitwan is 23 years old and stands 1.76 m. She will represent Nepal at Miss World 2012Pageant to be held in China this August.

ROAD TO MISS WORLD 2012 : Rebecca Maquire

Photos of Miss Ireland 2012 Rebecca Maguire in swimsuit. Rebecca Maguire is the new Miss Ireland 2012 after the tittle winner Marie Hughes was asked to step down for violation of age requirement for Miss World Pageant. She was Miss Wright Venue 2012 and then won the first runner-up tittle in the national pageant. This 20-year-old beauty will represent the country in Miss World 2012 Pageant.

The Peruvian representatives in Miss World and Miss Universe 2012 were handpicked by local pageant organizers, and the winners were crowned during a press conference held in Lima last Thursday afternoon. They are:

Miss World Peru -  Giuliana Zevallos Roncagliolo, a former Miss Universe candidate (2010) who won the Miss American Continent title in Ecuador, also last year.

Miss Universe Peru - Nicole Faverón Vasquez.

Giuliana will compete in Miss World 2012, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, on August 18. Nicole will represent Peru in Miss Universe 2012.

Miss Aruba 2012

Lucianette Verhoeks was crowned Miss Aruba 2012 and will now get ready to compete at Miss World 2012. She was appointed as her country’s representative, once Miss World moved to the Summer for the first time in history.
She will compete in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. Miss World will happen in the months of June and July.

Miss Kazakhstan 2011

 

Aynur Toleuova (19), from Taldykorgan, was crowned Miss Kazakhstan 2011 during an event held in Almaty on December 6th. The 1st runner-up was Maria Gorbulko (Miss Astana), while the 2nd runner-up was Miss Shymkent, Arna Abdrakhmanov.  The 3rd runner-up was Miss Ust-Kamenogork, Asem Mamaev.

Aynur, who stands 178 m tall, will represent Kazakhstan at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, in July.

MISS ANGOLA 2012

To Miss World 2012: Edmilza Santos, who could not make it to London due to visa problems.

LUANDA, December 3 — Miss Cunene, Marcelina Vahekeni, was crowned Miss Angola 2011-2012 during a pageant that took place December 3rd at the Belas Conference Centre in Luanda, with the presence of the country’s President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, and the first lady, Ana Paula dos Santos.

Marcelina, a 23-year old student of Human Resources Development, was crowned by reigning Miss Universe Leila Lopes.  She stands 1.80 m tall and will represent Angola during the Miss Universe 2012 pageant to be held in August/September.

The 1st runner-up was Manuela Agostinho, from Luanda, and the 2nd runner-up was Izilda Silva, from Luanda Sul.  Miss Uige, Teresa Culembo, won Miss Photogenic; and Miss Africa de Sul, Belcky Simoes, won the Miss Friendship Award.

Edmilza Santos, the 1st runner-up from 2010, will represent Angola in the Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. Santos was not able to compete in the 2011 edition since her visa was not processed in time.

Road To Miss Universe 2012 & MISS WORLD 2012

Miss France 2012

Delphine Wespiser, Miss Alsace, is the new Miss France. She is 19 years old and 1.75 m tall. She will represent France in Miss Universe 2012.

The 1st runner-up was Mathilde Couly, Miss Pays de Loire, the favorite for the crown. She is 21 years old and 1.72 m tall. Mathilde will be France’s representative in Miss World 2012, to be held in Ordos, China in July.

The 2nd runner-up was Miss Reunion, Marie Payet, the 3rd runner-up was Miss Provence, Sloene Froment, and the 4th runner-up was Miss Cote d’Azur, Charlotte Murray.  One of them will participate in the Miss Supranational 2012 pageant in Opole, Poland, next August.

Actor and living legend Alain Delon, president of the jury, announced the name of the new Miss France.

New Miss World to visit Venezuela in December

Ivian Sarcos, Miss World 2011, will be welcomed in her home country of Venezuela on December 3rd. She will arrive with members of the Miss World Organization, including Ms. Julia Morley.
Sarcos became Venezuela’s 6th Miss World.

The 62nd Miss World beauty contest will officially take place in Ulan Bator, in Mongolia. The official announcement took place in London on November 4th.  Over 120 countries are expected to compete in beautiful Mongolia.(GB)
