Supermodel Rachel Hunter will be one of the celebrity judges that will be in the jury to select Fiji’s representative to Miss World 2012. Hunter, the former wife of singer Rod Stewart, will be in Suva next month to choose Fiji’s candidate to the Miss World 2012.
Ms Hunter’s participation takes the event up another notch with the attendance by the reigning Miss World, Ivian Sarcos from Venezuela and Chairman of Miss World, Mrs Julia Morley.
The star studded event will begin on the 19th of April with a private judging with the semi finalists before the ‘Fire and Ice’ theme cocktail fundraiser in aid of Mental Health Fiji on the 20th and the live finals on April 21st. Laura Dandovic, Miss Universe Australia 2008, will also judge.
This will be the first time Fiji plays host to a reigning Miss World and Supermodel at one event.
The winner will represent Oceania’s island at the Miss World 2012 competition in Ordos, China, August 18th. (GB)
